After the tragic earthquakes hit Japan, and the nuclear threat become eminent, Perceptor knew his abilities as a scientist would be needed. He quickly formatted into a nuclear response vehicle, and rolled out with his fellow Autobots. Now, they work to aid those in danger, and work to rebuild. Perceptor was given all the necessary prep and paint work to ensure long lasting and vibrant colors.
Reveal The Shield Deluxe Class JAZZ by Solracc333 Customs
Emergency Vehicle Jazz was made from a RTS Jazz. He was given a flat black base coat and then dry brushed steel, silver, and then white. The light bar is from a Generations Red Alert and decals were applied by fellow customizer Jbarb78.
Generations Deluxe Class SIDESWIPE by jbarb78 Customs
Sideswipe was created using a Generations Red Alert figure, painted to resemble a Japanese Imperial Police Car. He was painted using a custom mixed HoK white, and HoK Gloss Black. He was then detailed using Testors Model Master enamels, followed by Testors Wet Look Clear Lacquer. Custom Imperial Police decals were graciously donated by Boggs6ft7.
ROTF Voyager Class RATCHET by Jcartwork
Ratchet was made using a ROTF voyager class Ratchet figure, painted to resemble a Japanese rescue vehicle. Ratchet was given all the necessary prep and paint work to ensure long lasting and vibrant colors.

Generations Deluxe Class SEARGENT KUP by Customs By Zildjian
Kup was created using a Generations Seargent Kup figure, painted to resemble a Japanese random Japanese red cross/emergency vehicle. He was painted using a custom mixed HoK teal/light green. He was then detailed using Testors Model Master enamels, followed by Testors Wet Look Clear Lacquer. Custom Imperial rescue decals were graciously donated by Boggs6ft
Deviating from the classic G1 paint scheme, Speedlees ventures into the realm of the ‘what if’ with his Custom War for Cybertron Corrupted Optimus Prime figure. Imagine if Nemesis Prime got a hold of Optimus, but not fully, and was able to turn him into a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde type character where one half of of the figure is Optimus and the other half his Nemesis Prime. Portrayed by one half of the figure taking on a red/blue color scheme and the other half taking on a green/purple scheme, Speedlees has achieved what nobody ever imagined…a corrupted Optimus Prime. Who knows what is in store for the Autobots…only time will tell!
I don’t if I should call this a figure or a work of art but Speedlees has definitely achieved something monumental with his Black Knight Spawn Marvel Legends Custom figure. I had to do a double take when I read that this figure is 100% hand sculpted because the figure is so intricately detailed. The shoulder and leg armor are my favorite parts of this figure as the skulls look they are screaming out of the figure. There is so much dimension to this figure that it would need to studied up close to really see all of the detail but from a far, you can really see Speedlees artistic prowess and technique shine through.
Even the weapons and sword are intricately detailed to match the overall look and feel of the figure. Speedlees has taken many more photos over at his auction page so head over to eBay and check out his Black Knight Spawn Marvel Legends Custom figure.
On November 21st, I came across a killer Custom Marvel Legends X-Force set by Speedlees so I decided to feature each figure individually. Today, the focus turns to the Custom Marvel Legends X-Force Wolverine in the set. I have seen other X-Force Wolverine figures and there is one from Sideshow that I am comparing this one to. I think Speedlees figure is so much better than what any “professional” toy company can produce. The figure from Sideshow looks to hulky and muscular for my tastes but Speedlees Custom Marvel Legends X-Force Wolverine is very proportionate to his body and the muscles are just the right size. The coloring and styling of the X-Force costume is right on. I like the dark blades on the figure as well as the mask. Overall, a great piece of work! Here is a close up of the figure:
Speedlees has a dynamite, four figure set up this week with his Custom Marvel Legends X-Force Set: Wolverine X-23 Warpath Wolfsbane figures. Instead of being satisified with making just one Action Force figure, he has the entire team. The scale on the figures ranges from 5.5″ to 7″ and would fit right in with your Marvel Legends collection. Each figure has over 20 points of articulation. Transformers War for Cybertron is a third person shooter that was released this year and Speedlees Customs has translated the leader of the Decepticons from the video game into this killer Custom War for Cybertr on Megatron figure. What is great about this figure is that the paint aps look like metal and the colors look like the video game version. Along with the paint aps looking very realistic, the colors have a weathered, battled look to them. Here is a close up shot:

Speedlees using a great technique that accentuates the lines of the figure by by weathering the main parts of the figure while using deep colored lines along the seems of the figure.
