If you ever wanted to recreate the pinnacle scene in the Revenge of the Sith movie where Anakin (aka Darth Vader) storms the Jedi Temple with his gaggle of Clones now is your chance! nmptheboss has put together this Custom Lego Star Wars 501st Legion battalion with an awesome set of troopers as well as an AT-RT Walker. Now you can storm your own Jedi Temple...minifig style!
The Gunships in the Star Wars Universe are my favorite vehicles and most of the vehicles are pretty generic so it is great to see how creative customizers can get. Take Jaf1970's Kashyyyk Republic Gunship, for example! With Legos, you have the freedom to create any style you want and I think it is cool that we can imagine a Gunship styled after the famous battle for Kashyyyk. The colors of the bricks blend very well with that world. My favorite part of this custom is the World War 2 style deco of the arm ripping off a head of a battle droid. To see more photos, check out Jaf1970's Custom Lego Star Wars Kashyyyk Republic Gunship on eBay!
Worth its weight in gold? This Custom Gold Plated Lego Star Wars C-3PO is! 24K gold to exact. When I first saw this minifig I said to myself, "Wow...someone did a really nice gold color plating on this figure," but as I dug a little deeper, I discovered that the gold is real and it was plated by a very sophisticated process, which is outline below:
"This minifigure was chrome plated using Real 24k Gold. This minifigure is made with genuine Lego Plastic parts that have been Chrome Plated using a Vacuum Metalization Process (which vaporizes Aluminum and 24k GOLD to create the chrome plating effect). The Torso is made with a High quality water slide decal seal. It is clear coated to provide great wear protection for play or display."
This color gold brings out the movie like appearance C-3PO had and is even better looking than the 14K Gold C-3PO that Lego produced back in 2007. To see more photos of this Custom Gold Plated Lego Star Wars C-3PO, head over to eBay!
A little color can go a long way. Growing up with the original Star Wars trilogy, the cruisers, tie fighters, and star ships were pretty bland and gray. Don't get me wrong, the vehicles in the Star Wars universe are classic but when the prequels came out, they started to introduce some subtle color. The Republic Cruisers added a nice cranberry red and it brought the vehicles to the next level, which is what MyAmazinValues has done to this 5000+ piece Custom Lego Star Wars Millennium Falcon #10179. Replacing the few red bricks of color with a few shades of blue in the right places really gives this Lego Star Wars behemoth pop! Let me know your thoughts by posting a comment!
Legos may be small but people can make some mighty customs with them and Menges76 has found a way to improve upon the design of one of the galaxies most menacing ships with his Custom Lego Star Wars Slave 1 vehicle. Here is how he did it:
"Designed from set 6209. The base has been lengthened and widened. The top is removable in two sections to access a computer and gauge monitoring station and weapons station. An ion cannon and rocket rack deploy from doors that open on the sides of the hull. The floor for the upper deck is removable and reveals a large cargo area and prisoner hold. Boba Fett can sit in the pilot's seat with his jet pack on. The cockpit is highly detailed with multiple computer screens and gauges. The wings turn independently and turn when ship is in its flying position."

If you remember the brief moment of fame that Coleman Trebor experienced in the Attack of the Clones Star Wars Episode 2 movie, you may recall that he was the Jedi that was blown away by Jango Fett. Falling to his death below in the Geonosis Arena is no way for a Jedi to go! Immortalizing this brave Jedi is Christo7108's Custom Lego Star Wars Coleman Trebor minifig. Given the odd shape of Trebor's head, Christo did a great job capturing the detail, which is much more elaborate than the stock Lego heads that some of the figures come with. Add this one of a kind Custom Lego Star Wars Coleman Trebor minifig to your collection today!
Imagination and Star Wars go hand in hand and HueyToys is adding to the Clone Army's capabilities to mount offensives against the Separatist forces with his Custom Lego Star Wars Clone Dropship vehicle. This vehicle looks like it was produced by Lego and fits right in with the design of the Star Wars vehicles. This compact design looks like a it is an unassuming transport but in actuality the ship can hold 15 minifigs! The black hatch doors look like they would be able to fend off any laser attack. I can't tell from the photos but it would be great if the sides lowered down so that the troops could easily make their way out of the dropship. Imagine a fleet of 100 dropships landing to attack, like modern day Higgins boats that were used for the Normandy invasions of France and the Pacific Island campaigns in WWII!
Christo provides an answer to age of old question "what does a Stormtrooper do on his day off" with his Custom Lego Star Wars Beach Stormtrooper minifig. In all seriousness, Christo makes really awesome Custom Lego Star Wars minifigs and I am happy to see that he lets his hair down and has fun with them once and a while. The Beach Stormtrooper struck me on a personal level as I saw my first vacation Stormtrooper at Comic Con 2010, which was a dude in Stormtrooper armor with a Hawaiian shirt and shorts. My son took a picture with him and this figure reminds me of that trip.
Introduced in Season 3 of Star Wars The Clone Wars animated series, Ingencorp has created this very cool Custom Lego Star Wars Savage Opress minifig. It was great to see the origins of Darth Maul and this minifig has captured the on screen appearance of Savage very well. The apoxie used to sculpt the horns and the outfit that Opress was seen in is a great addition to the figure. The horns are in scale with the minifig as the animated series appearance Opress' had very large scale horns compared to the head. Top the figure off with a custom double bladed lightsaber and this Dathomiri Zabrak, who lived as a member of the Nightbrother clan on Dathomir, is ready for action.
Who can ever get enough clone variations? Given that the Star Wars movies from the late 70's and 80's introduced us to the Stormtrooper, Biker Scouts, Snowtroopers, and Royal Guards, it was a breath of fresh air to see so many clone variations with the newer Star Wars movies and the animated series. Friendliang is adding to your clone army ranks with this Custom Lego Star Wars Commander Jet minifig. Decked out in the orange, red, and yellow deco from the animated series, this Commander Jet minifig also comes with a cloth kama and pauldron. Commander Jet's helmet is different from the rest of the clones, with a pentagonal shape attached to each side, giving him that distinctive look.
In Star Wars minifig style, venom113jp has created this cool Clone Wars character with his Lego Star Wars Pre Vizsla Clone Wars Custom minifig. Modeling the figure after the Clone Wars animated series, this figure will make a great addition to your Lego Minifig collection. Pre Vizsla was a Mandalorian from the planet Mandalore, who lived during the Clone Wars. By around 22 BBY, Vizsla had become the leader of the Death Watch splinter group in opposition to the pacifist Duchess Satine Kryze and her peaceful New Mandalorian organization's rule over Mandalore, a government that Vizsla believed dishonored the Mandalorians' generations-old warrior traditions.
Order 66 was the Darth Sidious' final solution to the Jedi Order and BrickBuildersPro has created some killer Custom Lego Star Wars Clone Trooper Assassins, painted up as an homage to some very popular Dark Lords of the Sith. Here is the story behind these figure:
"Months after Order 66, force sensitive clones are recruited to hunt down any remaining Jedi. A prelude to the shadow trooper, these deadly assassins paint there armor in terrifying colors to honor their dark master's legacy: Maul, Nihilus and Vader"
I love the concept of Clones working for Sith's and painting themselves up in their honor. The three figures and base also looks like a mini diorama with the skulls and lightsabers of fallen Jedi at their feet. To place a bid on BrickBuildersPro's Custom Lego Star Wars Clone Trooper Assassins, head over to eBay!
I have come to the conclusion that you can pretty much make anything out of Legos. This Custom Lego Star Wars Hoth diorama is case in point! The person who made this even went so far as to create the illusion of ripples in the snow from the high winds that blow on the icy planet. If that was not enough, there is even more to look at in the base itself. Here is a peak into the Rebel base:
Looking at this makes me want to buy about 100,000 Lego bricks and get to building! Although this diorama is not for sale on eBay, you can get all of your supplies to create this Custom Lego Star Wars dio their
The great thing about Legos is that you can create almost anything out of these little bricks and Jaf1970 has built this Custom Lego Star Wars Rebel Hoth Base using over 900 Lego bricks. The assault and Hoth is one of the greatest battle scenes in the Star Wars trilogy and now your Rebel minifigs can set up shop in their secret location on the ice planet. One thing that is cool about this base is the access to the rooms that Jaf has built in using retractable ceilings, which gives a lot of playability to the Lego set:
In addition to the base, the set comes with 5 figures and instructions on CD-R with over 160 individual images to take you through the creation process step by step. To view more photos of this one of a kind Custom Lego Star Wars Rebel Hoth Base, head over to eBay!
Granted the Star Wars prequels have undergone much scrutiny but one cool thing about them was that they began to tell the story of the origins of some of the main characters in the last 3 chapters of the Star Wars saga. This week, Rurisk has a father and son combination with his Custom Lego Star Wars Jango and Boba Fett minifigs. This is a cool combination because you see the evolution of Boba Fett and if you remember anything from the Attack of the Clones movie, Boba will look like Jango when he is grown up although we never see his face in the last 3 chapters of the Star Wars movies. Come to think of it, Boba Fett had very little screen time but achieved rock star status in the collector community. I like the way that Rurisk has added facial stubble to Jango's face and also gave Boba a slight smirk, giving the figures a slightly different look. I also like the way that the backpack and helmet are one piece, which makes the backpack stay in one place:
One of my favorite figures in the prequel series are the Snowtroopers and Cloneworks1 has made a minifig version of the Lego Star Wars Clone Wars Captain Rex in Snowtrooper gear. It is cool to see the evolution of the Clone Armor and this is just one more example. The figure is simple yet effective. The one thing that I wished it had was a Kama to keep poor Captain Rex warm.
We first were introduced to the concept of the spiritual form a Jedi takes when they pass on when Obi-Wan Kenobi sacrificed himself so he could help Luke, when Yoda passed away from old age, and when Darth Vader was set aflame in a funeral pyre at the end of Return of the Jedi. Since the retouched versions of the original trilogy have come out, the old spirit of Anakin has been replaced by the younger version, which is represented in this set of Lego Minifigs. Rurisk, a Lego customizer extraordinaire, has created this one of a kind set of Custom Lego Star Wars Jedi Spirits: Anakin Skywalker, Yoda, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Qui Gon Jin minifigs. He has created a cool ghosting effect to replicate how the characters appeared in the movies and each come with a custom clear Light Saber.
Rurisk has a full clone battalion up for sale this week complete with its own Jedi with his Custom Lego Star Wars Waxer, Jet, Trapper, Flamethrower Trooper, and Ki Adi Mundi minifigs. This set would go great with your Lego Republic Gunship so head over to eBay and snatch these figures up!
We first got a look at Durge in the in the first Clone Wars Animated Series back in 2003 and boy was he a force to be reckoned with. FreshFromTheSewers has a scaled down version of this menace with his Custom Lego Star Wars Durge Minifig. The detailing on this figure is excellent as it bears the markings of a bounty hunter and the shoulders are augmented to give him a meaner, more substantial look. If you think the front looks great, head over to eBay and take a look at the detailing on the back of the figure. While you are there, place a bid on FreshFromTheSewer's Custom Lego Star Wars Durge Minifig.
Straight from the Star Wars The Clone Wars animated series comes Rurisk's Custom Lego Star Wars Waxer, Boil, and Numa minifigs. If you remember from the series, Waxer and Boil find an orphaned little girl on the planted they are liberating from the Separatists. They risk their lives to reunite little Numa with her family. You can recreate this scene with this awesome custom lot! Numa even comes with a little doll so head over to eBay and check out Rurisk's Custom Lego Star Wars Waxer, Boil, and Numa minifigs.
FriendLiang has one of the most memorable clone commanders from the Revenge of the Sith movie in small form with his Custom Lego Star Wars Commander Cody minifig. What I love about this figure is that he used a small piece from vehicle to mimic the holographic Order 66 directive from Darth Sidious. FriendLiang makes awesome custom Minifigs so be sure to check out his Custom Lego Star Wars Commander Cody minifig and others over on eBay!
goongalacowabunga84 has a great version of a very cool clone commander with his Custom Lego Star Wars Commander Gree minifig. I like the black base for the figure as it goes really nicely with the camouflage armor for Gree. The helmet is done very well and the choice of the shade of green is excellent! If you are looking to add a Clone Commander to your ranks, head over to eBay and check out this Custom Lego Star Wars Commander Gree minifig.

FriendLiang has captured one of my favorite Clone Wars episodes with his Captain Rex Snow Assault Custom Lego Star Wars Minifig. When I first saw the Trespass episode, I was pleased to see that they had tied in some of the older Star Wars movies with an homage to the past. I like the Rex's helmet was crafted and the overall look of the figure captures how Captain Rex's character appeared in the episode. To place a bid on FriendLiang's Captain Rex Snow Assault Custom Lego Star Wars Minifig, head over to eBay!
The Venator Class Star Destroyers are one of my favorite large vehicles from the Star Wars series. Simple but massive in the design, these ships remind me of sea warfare as the ships must line up side by side to each other to deliver their crushing blows. 5striley5 has created this Custom Lego Star Wars Venator Class Star Destroyer that is over 2 feet long! He also made a cool video so check it out below:
If you want to add a really cool vehicle to your Lego Star Wars collection that is over 2 feet long and uses over 3,000 bricks, head over to eBay and check out this Custom Lego Star Wars Venator Class Star Destroyer.
