Named fighter of the decade, Loosecollector has immortilzed this iconic boxer with his Custom Marvel Legends Manny PACMAN Pacquiao figure. I've been a fan of Loosecollector's work since 2008 when I featured one his customs and he never ceases to amaze me. He continues to excel at creating life like figures that come alive in plastic. The facial expression and the pensive look he has given this figure bring it to life. Even the shorts, gloves, and shoes look impeccable. There is less than 24 hours in this auction so if you are a fan of Loosecollectors work or of Pacman, better grab this one while you still can!
Paying homage to the Botcon theme of 2008, Wiliestbilame has created this metallic Cutom Transformers Masterpiece Shattered Glass Sideswipe figure. The paint app on this figure looks silky smooth and I like how the black outlining highlights the features of this Autobot turned bad. My favorite part of this custom is the scared Autobot symbol sliced across Sideswipe's chest. To hear more about custom, let's hear more from Wilestbilame himself:
"Sideswipe has always been one of the coolest Autobots around, featuring his super sleek Lamborghini Countach alt mode, Sideswipe is true to his name and his need for speed! this is especially true for his mirror universe version, Shattered Glass Sideswipe! based on the extremely popular mirror universe where Autobots are evil and Decepticons are heroic, one concept that really stood out to me was that of Sideswipe appearing in darker colors which are a significant departure from his signature red from G1, so basing myself on this concept and in order to maximize the full potential of this fantastic figure I gave him a serious overhaul in the paint department to truly bring out the full awesome of this great mold, Sideswipe was Prepped and Cleaned prior to being given his paintjob which consists of the highest quality automotive graden lacquers available, for his main color I used a custom blend to create a deep Dark Grey, a light grey for his feet, face, waist and other sections, as well as a special blended Teal for his chest, and other secondary areas, He features his new SG Autobot logo with the iconic Damage across it and his new Decepticon faction logo beneath it to symbolize his resolve to remain heroic even in this universe"
Thanks to leaked photos of the Star Wars Episode 7 The Force Awakens, we get to enjoy customs made from the movie a whole heck of a lot earlier. Kylo Ren was first revealed in the first teaser trailer for Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens back on November 28, 2014 and if the customs that are starting to come out are any indication of what is in store once more trailers get released, fans are in for a treat! Take this Custom Star Wars Force Awakens Kylo Ren figure as an example of what is to come! Standing 6 inches tall with his with the tri-blade lightsaber and the soft cloak, this figure resembles the leaked figure (seen below) and will fit in with your Star Wars Black collection.
Netflix is known for delivering with their original series and TextureMe is renowned for making killer customs and you bring the two together, it is magical! TextureMe has modeled his latest Daredevil Custom Marvel Legends Figure after the critically acclaimed show of the same name that debuted back in April 2015. Taking a darker side to the figure, he creates a likeness matching the on screen appearance of the character, which is a must have for any Marvel or Daredevil fan!
The Diaclone line from Takara was known for their alternate paint schemes and PumkinGonzo's Diaclone Optimus Prime Custom Transformers Figure mirrors this point in history. Using a brand new MP-10 Optimus Prime figure as the base, this figure is meticulously painted in finish resembling a subdued metallic look. No detail is spared on this figure, even down to the minute rivets that adorn the figure, which makes Optimus look even better! Let's hear more about this stellar looking custom from PumkinGonzo himself:
"This was an amazing experience to paint such a great figure but certainly a test. Took well over 40 hours to paint. Despite prep work, I'm listing this as a professionally painted robot display piece. It will transform but I've totally concentrated on the robot mode. Lots of thin coats of primer, using a very soft, smooth style. A build up then mixture of colours. He has got a slight metallic look to him. Metallic blue, metallic black on the lower legs. It's not a real shiny obvious metallic look however. There's loads of detail, all the rivets painted. The gun also has detail and matches the slight metallic vibe and the axe has a subtle two tone colour. Airbrushed and hand painted finished with a gloss varnish."
If you want a killer custom from one of the best, look no further than PumkinGonzo and his Diaclone Optimus Prime Custom Transformers Figure.
Billmeister has done it again and created this amazing looking Custom Transformers Dinobots Combiner called Extinction. Modeling an appearance of the Dinobots after the Fall of Cybertron game using the colors of metallic gold, silver, steel, and flourescent red. For the magma styling, he painted the Weapons with a glow like color scheme also in reference to the FOC weapons. Using combiner parts, the Dinobot quintet combines to form a beast with much more power than its individual bots can hope to achieve. I love the classic G1 color scheme and the colors are spot on to the classic 80's styling with an updated look to them. All of the parts seamlessly fit together to form a killer combiner!
Lucky I saw this when I did...only a couple hours left to nab Toyphilia's Custom Marvel Legends American Eagle figure. What Toyphilia excels at is creating customs that look like they were ripped from the pages of Marvel Comics. Since most toy companies focus on making popular figures or lines from movies, it is great when customizers fill in the gaps and make lesser known but amazing figures. Take his American Eagle, for example. He did a fantastic job sculpting the various parts needed to resemble the comic likeness of American Eagle, even down to the undulations in this tank top. Move quick on this one as there is not much time to grab Toyphilia's Custom Marvel Legends American Eagle figure.
LEK is famous for his realistic paint apps and he prides himself with delivering the best looking customs he can possibly create and his Custom Transformers Ultra Magnus Mastperiece MP-22 figure delivers! Painted in classic G1 red, white, and blue, Ultra Magnus' has a metallic and distressed look. Sinking effort into every nook and cranny he can, LEK's version of the trailer is the most detailed I have ever seen.
The trailer overall is absolutely impressive. If you look closely, you see gold accents integrated into the trailer detail, bringing a realistic look and feel to the figure that the off the shelf versions are missing. I have been following LEK's customs for quite some time now and they just keep getting better and better as the years go by! This Ultra Magnus Masterpiece MP-22 Custom Transformers Figure will not disappoint and should make a glorious addition to anyone's Custom Transformers collection. Don't miss out on this one!
Jetfire has always been my long time favorite in the Transformers Universe and D.M. has taken a Revenge of the Fallen figure and has given a G1 makeover. You will notice the classic color scheme that is very fitting for Jetfire. The aspect I really love about this figure is the distressed paint app. This is one of the most unique Jetfire figures I have seen in a long time and the Generation 1 colors brings out all of the unique detail that the off the shelf figure kept hidden.
I was just amazed and shocked by the idea of taking perfectly good gijoe figures and turning them into new characters. While searching around some more I found a site called the Biv. I lurked there for a bit. Then that site became what we know know as joecustoms.com. I joined watched and studied the many talented artists there. Built up the nerve to make a custom and the rest is history!AFC: How many projects are you working on at any given time?
Be it customs, dios, photography, art it's your one stop shop with very talented from all over the world come to display their work.
Taking advantage of the latest in 3D printing technology is DarCave's Custom Transformers Decepticon Justice Division Tarn figure, a one of a kind evil bot that is built to "Find. Kill. Cleanse." According to DarkCave, his head, dual fusion cannon, chest plate and shoulder/tank treads were CAD drafted and 3D printed. I am so excited that customizers are starting to use 3D printers as it opens up the possibilities to create customs at scale. For those who are skilled in CAD, it offers those who are more talented figuring out software. Using interchanging parts with Generations Springer and Sandstorm figures, Tarn is a seamless construction of Transformers and additional parts created by DarkCave. My favorite part of this custom is the chest plate as it reminds me of the combiners, especially Devastator. It is cool to find combiner parts on smaller figures as it gives them a very unique look. Since Tarn does not exist in the Transformers Universe, DarkCave has written a back story on him:
"Tarn is the leader of the Decepticon Justice Division, a group of Decepticons tasked by Megatron to hunt down traitors to the Decepticon cause. Even though he's fearful and intimidating, your intrigued by his personality and, in some ways, his nobility. As well as his addiction to transforming and classical music. No to mention this evil bastard can actually TALK his victim to death."
When it comes to Master of the Universe Classics figures, MeMade Customs has a knack for creating one of a kind figures. This week, he brings us his Custom MOTUC Bluu-Revol figure, which is a figure and character that does not currently exist in the Universe of the Masters of the Universe. Having collected these figures myself, I can tell that Bluu-Revol will fit into anyone's collection. Taking on the persona as an ironclad ice horde gladiator, this figure has many cool attributes to it. First, the helmet is interesting as you don't know what Bluu-Revol's face looks like and you can only imagine. The apparatus strapped to his back is intriguing and I wonder if it is an ice generator. The look is completed with the broken chains dangling from his wrists and to get the full back story on that, go ahead and read MeMade's original story about this killer figure:
"Working as a slave for his entire life, Marcus was always a slave. There is never a time in his life that he doesn't remember being one. Raised in the Horde mines, he fought for his life protecting him and his younger brother Sparta from harm. One day Sparta was caught stealing a loaf of Eternian sweet bread by the on guard horde troopers. He would have been sentenced to death if it wasn't for his brother Marcus. Marcus stood before her attack and offered himself up in place of Sparta.
Hordak being of no mercy disintegrated Sparta on the spot in front of his brother Marcus. Marcus vowing to take his vengeance was placed in a mutagenic chamber transforming him from a simple young man into hey now ironclad ice horde gladiator. Now known as Bluu-Revo, Marcus does not remember who he exactly is but does remember vengeance will be his against he who has oppressed him the evil Hordak!"
You can check out MeMade's Custom MOTUC Bluu-Revol figure and his others he has for sale over on eBay.
PumkinGonzo shows us what it is like if the leader of the Dinobots was played for the other team with his Custom Transformers Masterpiece Grimlock figure as a Decepticon. Painted in a classic black and purple scheme, this figure could very well fit into the Shattered Glass line where in 2008, the Transformers franchise introduced an old sci-fi warhorse of an evil alternate universe, (akin to Star Trek's Mirror Universe and DC Comics' Earth-Three) where the bad guys are good, the good guys are bad, and (mostly) everyone has different paint schemes. One thing you will notice about the paint app in this figure is its smooth as silk appearance. There are also other fine details that make this custom stand about among the rest. For example, the silver rivets that adorn the figure give it a more industrial look, which works great for this type of the figure. Sacrificing the electronics to get the look that he wanted is what customizers have to do sometimes as the sword, crown and other accents are painted in that classic Decepticon purple.
I was there live at Wrestlemania 31 when Seth Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank contract and turned the WWE World Heavyweight title match into a triple threat match. As Brock Lesnar was taking Roman Reigns to suplex city, I can still hear Rollins' entrance music and he curb stomped his way to become the future of the WWE. DeepFreeze customs captures this moment in WWE history with his Custom Seth Rollins as he appeared in his Wrestlemania 31 attire. I like that this figure comes with a removable shirt, the WWE Championship belt and the Money in the Bank briefcase as that adds to the display-ability of the figure. The paint app is evenly applied and the lines are well executed. This figure is definite must have for WWE collectors and DeepFreeze is offering you a chance to get this one of kind figure!
Solving the scalability issue is Ubrikkian Shipyards' massive Custom Star Wars Jabba's Sail Barge that is over 3 feet long! With respect to off the shelf Star Wars vehicles, this Sail Barge is gigantic. One thing that always irked me about the vehicles in the Star Wars line was that none of them were to scale with the figures. I get it...it would bankrupt the toy companies and collectors would have to buy bigger homes for their toys but the figures never looked right next to the vehicles. Another aspect I like about this custom is the customizer himself as he wrote a witty and funny listing:
Ubrikkian Shipyards (ie. me in my basement) has been busy at the direction of his royal slugness building a new sailbarge after the disaster at the Sarlacc Pit. Up for your consideration is a voluminous Luxury Sail Barge for the Hutt family. A fully detailed, built from the ground up, custom Sail Barge ready to sail the sands of Tatooine. You can almost hear the music from Max Rebo's organ and Jabba's sinister laugh as he gets ready to feed another victim to the Sarlaac. This huge custom (38" L x 20" T x 15" W and weighs less than 10 lbs) has it all:
Room for all your figures to include a luxury suite that fits Jabba's entire girth and entourage
Deck planks with anchor chains and hatch doors that open to the spacious cantina below
A large cantinia with Jabba's mural, stairs to upper decks and large openings to place and view your figures
Realistically weathered hull and engines with windows that open
And of course those wonderful orange sails that really bring the barge to life.
The Sail Barge is also well designed and and thought out. In the Star Wars Universe, if it gets blown up, you build a version 2 but instead of making the same mistakes twice (hence the Death Star and Death Star v2), Ubrikkian Shipyards made some much needed enhancements. For example, the viewing ports are very large so Jabba can view the carnage without obstruction. If you are a Star Wars collector this Custom Sail Barge is a must for any collection!
As an army builder of GI Joe figures, I can appreciate the need for a great weapon and Marauder Inc. is a fantastic resource to meet your needs! Specializing in weapons for 3-3/4" figures, the product design is simply amazing and fills a much needed gap in the accessory department for smaller figures. To be honest, the stock weaponry that comes packed with figures these days is a joke so if you are serious about displaying your figures with the best replica guns and ammo around, head over to Marauder Inc and check them out!
Below you will find an example of their Modular ACR Assault Rifle w/ accessories and you can see how bad ass these weapons are. Imagine the possibilities if you equip your GI Joe or Cobra army with these weapons.
Or take this Modular M4 MOE Carbine Assault Rifle...a truly amazing piece that looks even better in the hands of a capable 3 3/4" figure
They not only specialize in weapons but they also make gear for dioramas too! For example, let's say your Joe army needs to camp out for the night after a long battle fighting the evil forces of Cobra. you can make it happen with this Nylon Tent:
They also sell weapon sets so if you are looking to outfit your entire brigade with some killer firepower, these types of sets are for you.
Here is how the company describes themselves:
"The source for weapons & accessories scaled for use with ALL collectible 3-3/4 inch action figures. We carry accurate 1:18 scale miniature replica versions of authentic looking weapons or designs based on military & science fiction originals. Sturdy & highly detailed items are NOT "soft & bendy" rubber or "fragile & brittle." Similar feel to vintage 1980s 1:18 scale weapons. The weapons are perfect for the ADULT COLLECTOR to "upgrade" the equipment of their collectible 3-3/4 inch (1:18 scale) figures or to finally provide those incomplete or custom figures with COOL & INEXPENSIVE accessories."
Growing up watching He-Man and the Masters of the Universe was really fun and it was cool that Prince Adam had a talking cat! JACC (Joe Amato Custom Creations) imagines a world where He-Man trusty sidekick is more than just transportation and the occasional rescue feline with his Custom Battle Cat-Man MOTU Classics figure. Resculpting a removable helmet and chest symbol, JACC has retained the classic look of Battle Cat we grew up with while creating a totally brand new figure for us to enjoy. The green and yellow paint scheme is also new and to make this figure even more interesting, he also wrote up a really cool bio:
The armor on the figure completes the look and I like that he tied in the symbol and sword of He-Man, which makes it look like they belong together. The tunic is a nice touch giving Battle Cat a more human feel to the character. This would make an amazing addition to any MOTU Classics collection so make sure to snatch this Custom Battle Cat-Man MOTU Classics figure while you still can!
Growing up in the 80’s, I had most of the Transformers toys and there was always something that bothered me about the G1 Megatron! After seeing Xaviercal’s Custom Transformers IDW Megatron figure, I think I have figured it out! The 80’s Megatron is not bulky or massive enough. Xaviercal has fixed this issue with one of the best Megatron’s I have seen of late. He gave Megatron such much needed additions to bulk up his legs and shoulders. Giving him a new fusion cannon and and a tank barrel to resembler his Walther P38 appearance in robot mode cements the look! Interesting to see that he chose to go with a dark gray color scheme but it works surprisingly well! There are also very subtle aspects of the figure that you might notice. For example, instead of using a purple Decepticon symbol, he chose to go with a metallic gray symbol that almost fades into the background.
When Shinobitron created this Custom Marvel Legends S.H.I.E.L.D figure montage, he definitely had versatility in mind. With 4 sets of heads, you can transform this figure into 4 different types of characters: Captain America, Iron Man, Nick Fury and Dum Dum Duggan. The design works on all levels and the suit that was selected for the base of the figure compliments each character. The accessories also are a great fit!
This is a fantastic idea for a custom and what is even better is the back story around why this figure was created and how it fits into the Marvel Universe so I will let Shinobitron tell this one:
"With all the super villains popping up and threatening the safety of the world, Nick Fury needed a solution to combat their evil. Deciding to take the matter to Tony Stark, they came up with the idea to make a specific S.H.I.E.L.D. suit of armor that could adapt to each individual user and could represent "Truth, Justice and Liberty". Thus it became dubbed "The Patriot" Armor and a solid reminder to villains of just what the heroes using the suit were fighting for!
The Patriot Armor stands at just under 6.5" tall from the bottom of his armored boots to the top of his various heads. This figure features around 33 Points of Articulation. This figure comes with 4 heads ( Captain America, Nick Fury, Iron Man, and Dum Dum Duggan), 2 sets of hands, a Shield, a clear Axe/Shield, wrist launcher, a strand of bullets, a double arm chain gun, and an arm laser gun. This Armor has been carefully sculpted and intricately detailed to show off the complexity of the design! There is not another like it!"
To view more photos or to purchase this custom, head over to eBay and check out Shinobitron's Custom Marvel Legends S.H.I.E.L.D figure!
From the bizarre world of good becomes evil and evil becomes good comes swampmonkeyxr’s Custom Shattered Glass Metroplex city with Optimus Prime and Scamper. In the Shattered Glass motif of teals, blacks, and purples, Metroplex looks like he is ready to defend! The way that this custom was painted makes the individual parts stand out and I like the way the customizer used red and gold accents.
If you take a close look at the fingertips, you will see what I mean. The red tips as well as the gold finger accents add the finishing touches to this figure that is needed. It is really cool that this figure customs with Scamper and Optimus Prime and I love the way smaller figures look as it gives scale to the massive city that is Metroplex. Optimus even comes with shattered cab windows, completing the look of the figure and giving it a special meaning.
Fully transformable, this Custom Shattered Glass Metroplex figure looks even more impressive in alternate form. All in all, this figure is a great addition to any custom collection and makes an even better addition to a Shattered Glass collection!
Seth Rollins had a wild ride at Wrestlemania 31. After losing to Randy Orton via the most devastating (and entertaining) RKO we've ever seen from the Viper, Rollins finally cashed in his Money in the Bank contract during the title match between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns, cementing his legacy as the current face of the WWE. Capitalizing on his victor, knlimper has captured this moment in WWE history with his Custom Seth Rollins in his Wrestlemania 31 outfit where he won the World Heavyweight championship. Doing an excellent job with the tights detail, knlimper has designed Seth's monogrammed outfit using his current SR logo in the black and gold theme. I was there live to see this all unfold and I have to admit, it was pretty exciting! It also seemed to happen very fast as Seth delivered a few curb stomps to Lesnar and Reigns and finally pinned Roman to win the championship.
There is so much detail in JCArtwork's Custom Transformers Age of Extinction Optimus Prime figure it will make your head spin. This figure literally looks like it was ripped from the Age of Extinction movie...it is that good! Using a DMK-03 Dual Model Kit Optimus Prime as the base of the figure, JCartwork has transformed this great looking Prime into a thing of beauty. The technique that was used to paint the figure makes it look like the figure is made out of metal and you can see that in every nook, there are the tiniest details that make this figure one of the best Optimus Prime's from the AOE line I have see to date. Lucky for you, this figure is available for immediate purchase so if you are in love with it like I am, head over to eBay and buy JCartwork's Custom Transformers Age of Extinction Optimus Prime figure.
Sheamus has been out of commission from the WWE for quite a while but he made a vicious return on RAW last Monday. With his return came a brand new look and a heel attitude and Skribbel24 has immortalized this point in WWE history with his Custom Mattel Elite Sheamus figure. Regarding Sheamus' new look, it was met by a crowd chanting "You look stupid" but I have to admit that I actually like this new attitude and look that Sheamus has going for him. The braids on the beard, which Skribbel has captured nicely, along with the killer Mohawk. I also liked the new wrestling trunks as well. To be honest, his character was going nowhere in the WWE and I am glad to see that he has reinvented himself. To own this unique figure, head over to eBay and check out Skibbel24's Custom Mattel Elite Sheamus figure.
Just like the 1986 Transformers movie, Vampiregirl04 has reconstructed a Combiner Wars Megatron into this Custom Galvatron figure you see before you. Using the classic Generation 1 color scheme of purple, grays, and oranges, the modifications that were done to this figure fit into the current line while retaining that old school look that started the Transformers craze. The aspects that stands out on this custom are the modifications that were done to the chest and head, which include resculpted facial features, the addition of head crests, a Revoltech joint for the neck, resculpted and modified chest/torso, and a sculpted and modified cannon. I love the emotion that is conveyed in Galvatron's face and the way that the left eye and expression was created gives it a more lifelike look. To view more photos and to place a bid, head over to eBay and check out Vampiregirl04's Custom Combiner Wars Galvatron figure!
Textureme has an amazing Custom Marvel Legends Deadpool 6" figure up this week on the the Bay! This custom blows me away for a few reasons. First, the paint app is silky smooth and the colors compliment each other nicely. The red that was selected for the figure matches perfectly and the blacks and browns work off one another. Looking at the finer details, you might notice Deadpool branded weapons, especially on the bat. This makes for a very unique custom and given the weapon set, it is cool to have a ton of assault paraphernalia with your calling card on it. Not only is this figure's paint app well executed, Deadpool comes chockablock with weapons and two alternate head sculpts.
There are literally 1000's of combinations to display this figure so if you are into versatility then this figure is for you! Go check out Textureme's Custom Marvel Legends Deadpool 6" figure now!
Billmeister gave the leader of the Autobots a finish that he deserves with his Custom Transformers MP-10 Metallic Optimus Prime figure. Not happy with the stock coloring of the off the shelf version (who is really???), he gave Optimus a metallic look that more closely resembled the G1 version from the cartoon.
Just to give you an idea how amazing this paint work is, here is a close up (see above) of the cab area. He was able to create glow effects, which makes it look like the windows on his chest are actually lighting and dimming. You will also notice that the rivets on Optimus are painstakingly painted to perfection. He also gave the glow effects to his Axe but you will have to check that out on eBay!
With the Star Wars Black 6" series, the Marvel Universe and the icons from a Galaxy far far away were destined to collide. Fanboy Toys' Custom Marvel Legends Boba Fett Deadpool crossover figure is a thing of beauty! The two concepts gel together and play off of each so well. For example, the classic Deadpool eyes are integrated into Boba Fett's helmet in a way that is so natural. You will also notice a Deadpool belt buckle instead of a Mandalorian symbol. The color of the armor is just right and the addition of soft goods and sculpted holsters takes this figure to another level.
The brown soft cape, the belt, and the holsters compliment the armor and give the figure a classic look. It is this attention to detail that really blows me away. If you look closely at the holster, you can see very small stitching, which gives the piece a very realistic feel.
Other really cool aspects of the figure center around the weaponry and jet pack. I also think I see a Rubik's cube on the back of the figure, which I assume is there for when Boba needs a break from his Bounty Hunter escapades or when he is plotting his next mission.
This figure is on the top of my list for the most coolest, well designed figures I have seen in 2015 and to make this your own, head over to eBay and place a bid on Fanboy Toys' Custom Marvel Legends Boba Fett Deadpool crossover figure.
DarkCave Customs gives us a glimpse of an alternate Autobot Universe where this soldier is a jet with his Custom Transformers Ultra Magnus jet figure. There are several aspects of this custom that caught my eye. First, the paint app and styling DarkCave used gives the figure much depth and dimension. The classic G1 Ultra Magnus blues and whites compliment the figure nicely. The grays that were used to out line the figure really make all of the parts stand out from each and it gives it a fresh from war look with all of the carbon scoring. Second, DarkCave made use of a 3D printer to make a new head for the figure, completing the look. To check out more photos, head over to eBay and take a gander at this Custom Transformers Ultra Magnus jet figure.
The Hulkster and the NWO (yes...Nash and Hall) caused some major havoc at Wrestlmania 31 this past weekend and Skribbel24 has immortalized the this WWE/WCW icon with this Custom NWO Hollywood Hulk Hogan figure as he was seen in the Halloween Havoc pay per view as he fought against the Ultimate Warrior. Hulk Hogan does like to wear a nice boa so I am happy to see that it is included with the figure as it completes the look. Also, if you don't believe me that Hollywood Hogan, Hall, and Nash caused some trouble for Triple H and Degeneration X, here are the photos to prove it...I was there!
Following the same fate as Peter Parker, Cindy Moon was bitten by the same spider while attending a public exhibition demonstrating the safe handling of nuclear laboratory waste materials. I wish my school took us to a nuclear lab for field trip but alas I digress! As Cindy Moon exclaims, "When I'm like this, call me -- Silk!" and Babcsan has captured the essence of this Marvel Comics character with his Custom Marvel Legends Silk figure. Completely hand painted, Babcsan does an amazing job keeping the art and costume detail symmetrical and accurate to the comic representation, even down to the gray accents on the boots!
The fans choice Masterpiece figure was voted Star Saber and paying homage to the original G1 Japanese Brainmaster is Xaviercal's Masterpiece Black Star Saber Custom Transformers MP-24 figure. This figure looks so much better as a Decepticon and Xaviercal nailed the G1 style and coloring. The finish on the figure looks smooth and the colors are all in the right place. To tell us more about how this custom was made and what inspired him to make is Xaviercal himself:
"Star Saber keeps most of the features the original G1 toy had, the main difference being in how the Brainmaster gimmick works: Saber's face is in the main body rather than in the Brain of Courage figure. Also he comes with an extra accessory that was not in the original figure, the shield Star Saber used in "Showdown! The Fortress vs the Victory Unification", which doubles as a "flight stand" for the figure when in its alternate mode. He also comes with two swords, one scaled for Saber and one scaled for Star Saber. I completely took this guy apart and repainted him into e-Hobby exclusive colors of evil redecos. I wanted to do the same but with the MP Version."
This figure is hot and is already going for over $250 on eBay so better place your bid while you still can!
