Looks like someone is trying to offload one of Xaviercal's coolest customs on eBay this week! This Custom Transformers Ultimate Ironhide in Leader Class scale. Irohide is a master of weaponology and this rendition of the figure really pays homage to the kick ass nature of the Autobot who got little airtime in the movies for how cool he is. Eighteen LED lights adorn this amazing figure, which are located in the Head, Headlights, fog lights, cab lights, stock guns, and 3rd part weapons, to name a few. The paint app is impressive and really highlights the metallic looking parts on a plastic figure. Not only does the figure look intimidating in robot mode, but it looks just as cool in vehicle mode! To view more detailed photos of Xaviercal's Custom Transformers Ultimate Ironhide, head over to eBay!
Primos Customs has outdone himself with his Custom Transformers Generation 1 Metroplex figure. Not only has he captured the feeling of one of the greatest large scale Transformers of all time, he made it his own. This is what customizing is all about. Using his creative freedom while retaining the Generation 1 classic we grew up with, this figure is a more slimmed down, taller version of the Autobot City. By making this figure larger, it makes the figure more intimidating and impressive! The weathering on the paint job makes the figure look like it has been in some fierce battles and with two other modes (City and Battle Station), Primos has created one of the greatest Metrplex figures I have come across. To view more photos of this amazing figure, head over eBay to check out his Custom Transformers Generation 1 Metroplex figure.
Raybot Customs has a killer looking Custom Marvel Legends Captain America figure up for auction this week. The colors on this figure are amazing in both clarity and depth. Raybot makes excellent customs and he pours so much realistic detail in each figure. With the paint washes, oversprays, textures, and highlights, the detail really shines! One of my favorite parts of this custom are the scalloped chest, shoulders, and biceps, which gives the figure a cool look. Another great look of this custom is the way Captain America's shield hangs off his back. There are several more photos over at Rabot's item page for his Custom Marvel Legends Captain America figure so go check them out!
Custom Zero has solved one of my main issues with the Star Wars vehicle line...SCALE! I know that it is impossible for Hasbro to build vehicles that scale with the 3 3/4" figures but this is where talented customizers come in and this Custom Star Wars AT AT Walker stands 3.5 feet tall and is 4.2 feet long. This scale surpasses the Super Deluxe AT AT Walker that was produced in 2010 by over 1.5 feet! Custom Zero's AT AT Walker has some awesome battle damage and weather effects. Combined with LED's in various places and a one of kind design for the cockpit and the interior transport cargo area, this AT AT Walker is how I envisioned the Star Wars vehicle line to be some day. For now, Custom Zero is filling the gap with his 3.5 foot tall Custom Star Wars AT AT Walker.
I am not sure if Magmomle was the customizer of this figure or not but, nonetheless, this Custom DC Universe Jim Lee Batman is up for sale! Styled after the All Star Batman and Robin comics, this figure stands 6" tall and comes with a great cloth cape. As you can see, the cape has a very impressive wingspan. Painted in the classic black, gray, and yellow color scheme, this Batman will fit right into your DC or Marvel Universe.
