Only a few hours left to nab Flobbster322's Custom Marvel Legends X-MEN Rogue figure. The face and the hair on this figure are outstanding! This has to be one of the best looking hair sculpts I have seen thus far. The way the eyes are done gives the figure its own persona so head over to eBay and get this one while you still can!
aeseven7 brings us his interpretation of this infamous clone commanders phase 1 uniform with his Custom Clone Wars Animated Commander Bacara figure. Bacara made a name for himself in the Revenge of the Sith movie by slaying Ki Adi Mundi on the Mygeeto Bridge but before that, this clone, along with all of the others, went through an armor change. I really like this interpretation as it resembles the ROTS Bacara and retains the feel.
How would you like to meet this ominous figure in a dark alley? Jin Saotome has developed the perfect killing machine in his Custom Cobra Banshee GI Joe 25th Anniversary figure. This thing looks vicious! To me, this looks like a cross between General Grievous (notice the legs) and a Battle Android alien machine. Let's get more background on this unique figure from Jin himself:
"The Joes are really in for a fight now. Enter the Cobra Banshee, the deadliest thing to come out of M.A.R.S. industries yet. This mechanical terror is full of glossy armor detail, metallic shading effects, and more sensor-eyes than Snake Eyes can shake a katana at. Swap out the Banshee's clawed hands with the laser blades and it's ready to slice it's way through anything, or anyone that gets in its path. The Banshee is also super articulated with balls joints that give it an incredible range of movement. The back spines can be put in closed or open positions and you have to check out the multi-sensored head!"
To check out more photos of this great figure, head over to eBay and bid on Jin's Custom Cobra Banshee GI Joe 25th Anniversary figure.
I am seeing a slue of Clone Wars customs lately and I am very pleased! This week, DefiantYogi has a 501st Clone Wars Snow Trooper Custom, which was featured in Episode 15 of the Clone Wars animated series. I really liked that episode and it brought back memories of Hoth and the Empire Strikes Back. DefiantYogi also as a Custom Commander Gree and a Commander Bly up this week so check him out over at eBay!
Sabrina's 5th installment in her Henkei series features this stunning Custom Optimus Prime figure. She nailed the color red on this one. The richness of the colors always amazes me coupled with the deep blues and greys completes the figure. One aspect that I love about her customs is the shading she puts into the figures, giving them a realistic metal look. She also has her 4th installment up on eBay as well so head over there and check out her custom Henkei Transformers figures.
Frenzy.Rumble just made a great addition to his Custom Transformers Universe Inferno figure by adding the classic Generation 1 style ladder. I don't know why this was not part of the original design but it is customizers like Frenzy.Rumble that do the jobs the toy companies fail to do year after year.
It is great when customizers bring concepts to life and Wanderer-X has done this with his Custom Marvel Legends Polaris figure. One of the key members of the new Starjammers, Magneto's daughter and second woman to join the X-Men, and the Mistress of Magnetism, this Polaris figure is very highly detailed and there are a few aspects of this custom I would like to point out. First, the head sculpt is very well done. The hair and the facial features are the high points for me on this one. The eyes and lips give the figure personality and the colors stay true to the concept art. To add this great figure to your Marvel Legends collection, head over to eBay and bid on Wanderer-X's Custom Marvel Legends Polaris figure.
It is always cool to know how the clones evolved into the leaders we saw in Revenge of the Sith. One thing that is great about a television series is that you can get to know the characters more in depth than a movie and Lilenobi's Custom Clone Wars Commander Gree captures the animated series likeness before he dons the Kashyyyk armor. Lilenobi did an excellent job translating the animated series Commander Gree into this custom, especially with the hair. Although this figure is not available on eBay anymore, I just had to capture it
Always ahead of the curve, Jin Saotome has a treat in store for Killzone fanatics with this Custom Helghast Soldier from the upcoming Killzone 2 video game. This figure is made from GI Joe 25th Anniversary line and I guarantee that you will never see anything like this come out of that line with this level of detail. Since these figures are in 3 3/4" scale, it is really difficult to get very detailed with these figures but Jin manages to pull it off with ease. Let's hear more about this great figure from Jin himself:
"Straight out of the upcoming Killzone 2 game comes the Helghast soldier, your basic trooper in their war against humanity. This trooper is painted with an exceptional level of detail such as deep shadows, grimy highlights, and metallic battle weathering. Equip this fellow with his rifle or have him fight it out in melee combat with the trench knife, this soldier is ready for any mission."
If you are looking to add a unique video game figure to your 25th Anniversary GI joe collection or your video game collection, head over to eBay and bid on Jin's Custom Helghast Soldier figure.
Kyle Robinson, on the best Marvel Legends customizers out there, has a Custom Marvel Legends Deadpool figure up this week that is to die for. There are several aspects of this custom that are great. First, the paint aps are all in the right places, even in between the muscles to show off the definition, which gives the figure added dimensions. The paint is also smoothly applied, which takes a steady hand as to not make the figure look clumpy. Kyle also does not skimp on the accessories. The holsters for the guns are a great touch as Deadpool has to put his piece somewhere when he is opening a can whoopass. Kyle is also regularly featured in ToyFare magazine so if that is not enough to get you over to his listing, I don't know what is! In all seriousness, check out Kyle's Custom Marvel Legends Deadpool and his other work over on eBay!
I think the Thudercats are a very under represented toy line as far as customs goes but BoskoesToys always seems to give them some love and there current offering this week is awesome! Check out there Custom Marvel Legends Thundercats lot, which contains Lion-o, Panthro, Tygra, and Cheetara. You can always count on their attention to detail and their quest to make the most accurate depictions of the characters. From small things like keeping the Thundercats logo in perspective to Lion-O's claw and sword, this lot is one for true Thudercats aficionados. To check out these Thundercats and thier other customs, head over to eBay!
l.designs is not short on creativity this week and it shows with his Custom Road Warrior Optimus Prime crossover figure. What a way to put a Voyager Class Prime to good use. There are several aspects of this custom that are great. In vehicle mode, he designed a custom cow pusher, which is used as a shield in robot mode. There are also parts of the tanker that are used for his killer shoulder spikes. Let's read more about this great custom from l.designs himself:
Initially I was just planning on doing an all out G1 style repaint of this guy. Anyhow when I finished the matte black undercoat I saw the tanker from Road Warrior. After that I searched for a suitable tanker in the proper scale and everything. I went all out for the paint and weathering on this one. Made some custom scale barbed wire for the top (careful sharp) and scratch built the cowpusher that locks onto the grill. Just so happen that when I found the tanker it was the type to light up and has some great sound effects of a running truck to add to the fun.
To own one of the most unique Optimus Prime customs I have ever seen, head over to eBay and check out l.design's Custom Road Warrior Optimus Prime crossover figure.
One of my favorite clones from Revenge of the Sith were the Utupau Clone Troopers and Ironhide's Custom Clone Wars Bomb Squad Trooper reminds me of those troops. These types of clones appeared in the episode, 'The Blue Shadow Virus,' and I was happy to see the return of the orange deco. Ironhide44 has done a great job making the dirty armor version of these troops and he even added the patch that is seen in the concept art for the figure. The patch is an interesting concept and it reminds of the patches that the Armored Division soldiers wore in World War 2. If you want to own a unique custom clone trooper you will never find in the stores, head over to eBay and check out Ironhide44's Custom Clone Wars Bomb Squad Trooper figure.
Sabrina Ng brings us her 4th installment in her Henkei series with her Custom Henkei Bumblebee Transformers figure. One aspect that I love about her customs is she takes the time to get it right and she also pays homage to the G1 era with the paint aps. Although the figure from the 80's was a canary yellow, the cartoon version was more an orangy yellow, which Sabrina captured nicely! Along with giving Bumblebee realistic looking metal parts, the shine and gloss to the figure gives it that showroom finish. She also has a Henkei Jetfire up this week as well so head over to eBay and check out both of her Custom Transformers figures.
Recreating one of the best Clone Wars episodes to date, Ironhide44 brings us his Custom Clone Wars Ambush Battle Pack featuring Lieutenant Thire and Clone Troopers Rys and Jek. One of the great things about the Clone Wars series is we get to know the clones better and see their personality, which really did not come through in the Attack of the Clones movie. most of the episode's I have seen so far center around camaraderie of the troops and their leaders and Ironhide44 does an excellent job capturing that aspect with his customs. It also looks like he pays very close attention to detail and he even hand mixed the paint to get the right maroon color. Let's get some detail from Ironhide44 on what went into creating this Battle Pack:
Lt. Thire is the leader. He has electrobinoculars on his helmet that can rotate. The electrobinoculars are custom made using plastic resin poured into a mold I made. He is a StarWarsShop.com exclusive Senate Security clone with a standard issue clone trooper helmet. The holsters for the pistols are custom made from molded plastic and were glued to the leg armor. The Pauldron and blaster pistols are from a Captain Rex figure. Thire was painted using high quality acrylic paints. I was maticulous about matching the maroon color and custom mixed it myself. He will come with two blaster pistols and a blaster rifle.
Clone Trooper Jek made that line a part of Star Wars lore in "Ambush". Jek is a standard issue Senate Security clone and a one man army. Jek carries a Z-6 rotary blaster cannon, dual blaster pistols (from a Captain Rex figure), a bandoleer, and a missile launcher. The holsters, Z-6 rotary cannon, bandoleer, and missile launcher are all custom molded in plastic made by myself. The holsters are glued to the leg armor. They are proportioned as close as I could judge to the actual animated versions. The cannon has a rotating handle (in Jek's left hand). The missile launcher has a flexible shoulder strap. The bandoleer is flexible also and painted to match the animated style.
Clone Trooper Rys is a standard issue un-modified Senate Security clone with a blaster and backpack. The backpack is a modified version of Asoka's. It has a longer strap setup. The straps are a custom molded piece that I made. I weathered the pack to match the weathered look of Rys.
Head over to eBay and check out Ironhide44's Custom Clone Wars Ambush Battle Pack.
Frenzy.Rumble has the ability to take a mediocre figure (at best) and turn it into a figure that you will want to have as the centerpiece of your collection. The intricate detail to his Custom Transformers Universe Inferno figure must takes talent to transform the plastic into a realistic looking fire truck and is a 1000% improvement to the Transformers Universe figure. There are many subtleties to this figure and I like the way that he has made the tires realistic looking (if you remember the original figure, it had red rims) as well as the hoses, the lights, and bumpers. It takes a lot of patience to do this work but as you can see it is very rewarding. My favorite part of this custom is the Autobot symbol on the front, which for G1 fans, is how the original Inferno rolled! To see more photos of this great custom, head over to eBay and check out Frenzy.Rumble's Custom Transformers Universe Inferno figure.
Continuing with catching up on Lilenobi's Custom Clone Wars Animated figures, his latest is Commander Fil as seen on Episode 10, the Lair of Grievous. He did a great job recreating the extravagant deco that Commander Fil's uniform adorns. I love the way the helmet is designed and I wish, for the future, that the figures will see a surge in Clones and Commanders in the stores. He also has a Custom Clone Pilot Hawk this week so check out Lilenobi's seller page each week to see what he has in store for you.
I have to say that Jetfire is my favorite Transformer of all time and Sabrina Ng has her third installment in her Henkei series with her Custom Transformers Henkei Jetfire figure. The third time is the charm and the paint aps for this figure and all of the enhancements bring out the best in the figure. Although my G1 Jetfire is bright white, I really like Sabrina's concept for the figure and the carbon scoring that is seen on the jet mode brings the figure to another level. You will also notice Sabrina's signature deep red color on the engines, which other Transformers, such as Optimus Prime and Sideswipe, have had the honor of wearing. I am very impressed with this figure and can't wait for more to come. With that, I will hand it over to Sabrina to tell you more about how she made this figure her own:
"The third installment of my Henkei series. Jetfire. The technique to Jetfire's paint scheme consists of a fusion between Gundam and Transformers. He was shaded, panel lined and had a layer of metallic red airbrushed on him. White has never been an easy colour to work with due to the numerous layers of paint needed before the desired shade of white is obtained. He was then clear coated and protected with anti UV gloss for that extra radiant shine and protection. Jetfire was given a pair of Gundam 1/100 fists as well as 2 additional weapons. A hand held Grenade Launcher which fits snugly into his hands as well as a Beam Rifle!"
To place a bid or view the vast amount of photos, head over to eBay and check out Sabrina's Custom Transformers Henkei Jetfire figure.
Once again, Lilenobi brings us the future commander of the Shock Troopers with his Custom Clone Wars Animated Lietenant Thire figure. Kicking off the first episode of the series, Thire demonstrated why he has what it takes to lead a large battalion. The battle damage and the deep red markings on the uniform pay a great homage to the clone leader. While sadly this clone is not for sale anymore, I still wanted to capture it as very few are customizing the animated clones like Lilenobi.
Lilenobi is your hook up for Clone Wars Animated customs and in my daily search for great customs, I came accross some that I missed last week so I am playing catch up. We saw Commander Bly briefly in the Revenge of the Sith but it is great to get to know him pre Order 66 in the Clone Wars Animated series. Lilenobi's Custom Commander Bly caught my eye as he is one of the few customizers out there immortalizing the Clones that make the series a blockbuster. Although this figure is not available anymore, head over to eBay and check out the latest figures that Lilenobi has up for sale this week!
Before I write about Lilenobi's Custom Clone Wars Clone Pilot Hawk figure, I have to say that the way he set up his listing reminds me of the Clone Firefighter Pilot ad where it said that figures that spend a few seconds on screen get immortalized in action figure. Although Clone Pilot Hawk did only spend a whopping 3 seconds on screen in the Clone Wars Animated Series, Lilenobi has done a great job capturing him in a figure. The deco reminds me of the 101st Airborne with the Hawks painting on the sides of his helmet. I was pleasantly surprised by the new deco when I saw the cartoon and I was very happy to see this custom up on eBay!
I remember wasting countless hours (and quarters) playing Street Fighter when it first hit arcades back in the late 80's. I used to work in a Bowling Alley as a teenager and when my shift ended, I would basically deposit my paycheck into the large glowing box they called Street Fighter. Ashkanls has done an excellent job capturing one of the characters from this ground breaking game with his Custom Marvel Legends Street Fighter Ken figure. The smirk on Ken's face pays a great homage to the great warrior with the Shōryū-ken, Rising Dragon Fist punch. This figure also comes complete with a fireball and from the looks of the photos, this is a great rendition of this classic character. I have to admit that I was the recipient of that on many occasions and countless battles and time was spent trying to perfect those moves. For all of you Street Fighter fans out there, head over to eBay and check out Ashkanls' Custom Marvel Legends Street Fighter Ken figure and own a piece of video game history!
Capturing the mercury look and feel of one of the Fantastic 4, jcartwork brings us this smooth looking Rise of the Silver Surfer Custom Marvel Legends figure. The original figure looked too plastic and silver for my tastes so jcartwork and his team has spent countless hours getting it just right. The reflective quality of the custom casts the right shine on the figure and I like the glossy look it casts. This figure must look stunning in person so If you want this Silver Surfer Custom Marvel Legends figure, head over to eBay!
Looks like someone captured video at the movies last night so we bring you the latest Transformers 2 Revenge of the Fallen Trailer (2 minutes long!!!). I can't wait for the customizers to get a hold of the new figures so check back often to the Custom Transformers section on AFC!embedded by Embedded Video
Happy Valentine's Day from everyone here at AFC! As Ralph Wiggum said in that infamous episode of The Simpsons, ""It says 'I Choo-choo-choose You,' and there's a picture of a train!" We hope everyone has a safe and happy day!
BoskoesToys has an amazing looking Custom Marvel Legends Juggernaut figure up this week. They have really captured the intensity of Juggernaut with the facial expressions and features they added to the figure. The eyes are piercing and the teeth show the true grit along with the lines in the face capture the true essence of Juggernaut. The helmet is one of my favorite parts of this figure and the way it was made lets the face shine through. BoskoesToys is one of the best in the business so head over to eBay and check out thier Custom Marvel Legends Juggernaut figure.
Sabrina Ng gives this Henkei figure a showroom shine with her Custom Transformers Sideswipe figure. The original look of this figure (before Sabrina put her touches on it) looked too plastic for my taste so I am very happy that Sabrina decided to put her energy into making Sideswipe shine. This is her second installment in her Henkei series and if this one (and ) are a preview of more to come, sign me up! She did take some liberties with the paint scheme and color aps but I will give her a pass on this one because the two colors that she chose go really well together and it takes an artistic eye to know what colors will compliment each other. Sabrina has more photos of her Custom Henkei Transformers Sideswipe figure over on eBay so head over there and check them out!
The Republic Gunships are one of my favorite modes of transportation as they have the ability to quickly move in and out of battle situations and provide much needed cover while the troops are being deployed or evacuated. SithClone116 has an interesting twist on the troop transport with his Custom Lego Star Wars Stealth Republic Gunship. Sometimes the clones need to do night missions and this Stealth Gunship is the right vehicle so that the clones can go unnoticed. I really like the black and grey brick color scheme and the bubble turrets add a great dimension to the vehicle. Head over to eBay and check out more photos of SithClone116's Custom Lego Star Wars Stealth Republic Gunship.
K&L customs have a great looking Custom Marvel Legends Storm figure up this week. The costume design is very nice and the eyes really draw you in to the figure. I also like the silver accents that surround the figure as it gives the limbs added dimension and makes them pop! They did an excellent job translating the concept art into a figure and it is customizers like K&L that have a long history of making quality customs that fans will have no problem posing next to their other Marvel Legends figures.
To check out the other photos, head over to eBay and check thier Custom Marvel Legends Storm figure.
Creg is back in full force and has a movie accurate Custom Optimus Prime Leader Class figure to feast your eyes on. Creg has really captured the personality of Optimus Prime and this shows in this custom. Sculpting a new face for Prime, he was able to capture the concerned look of the Autobot leader, giving this figure his own persona that adds to the display capabilities of the figure. To do this, he created two heads for this figure and added articulation in the form of ball jointed neck. Don't underestimate the tilt of a head to give the figure a new look as this also adds some human aspect to the figure and ability for it to change emotion with each tilt of the head:
Although Creg said that he has not made a Transformers custom in a while, you would never know it from this work of art so head over to eBay and see the vast photos of his awesome Custom Optimus Prime Leader Class figure.
Tonyz Customs has a beautifully styled and crafted Custom Marvel Legends Jean Grey figure up on eBay this week for all to enjoy! First, let me say that Tony's artistic ability really comes through on this figure. The figure as a whole is amazing but if I was to isolate a few aspects, I would call out the face and the hair. Tony has the ability to bring the figures to life and they way he painted and sculpted the face makes it look very realistic. The hair is also done very well and I love the way it flows from her head. The yellow and blues complete the figure, making this one of the best Jean Grey figures I have seen in a very long time. To check out more photos and his WIP photo, head over to eBay and place a bid on Tonyz Custom Marvel Legends Jean Grey figure.
Back in August 2008, I added more features to this blog and one of them was the ability for fans to rate their favorite customs. Fans were not shy about telling me what their favorite customs were so here is the rundown:
To make sure that your favorite figures are among the Top 5 next year, be sure to place your vote by clicking on the stars by the article title! Congratulations to Lambo205customs, Frenzy.Rumble, and Sabrina Ng!!!
Cyclonus' design was one of the coolest among the seeker jets and Sabrina Ng has given this Decepticon warrior a fresh new look with her Custom Transformers Henkei Cyclonus figure. The shape of Cyclonus is very different that the original seeker jets and the original paint scheme was a deep purple and silver, which Sabrina Ng has captured nicely with her flawless painting technique. Let's read more about how she made this great figure:
"To begin with, Henkei Cyclonus has some of the coolest looking chromy purple wings ever. That however didn't stop me from designing an even better colour scheme to complement him. I took some of the best paints that I had and spent countless hours experimenting before I managed to churn out a very metallic looking chromy purple that's close to the stock colours of purple chrome. He has been airbrushed with utmost care and shaded and detailed at every corner possible without turning this fearsome Destron warrior into looking overly colourful. Notice the very limited colour choices on Cyclonus without sacrificing the amount of attention to him."
Head over to eBay and check out more photos of Sabrina Ng's Custom Transformers Henkei Cyclonus figure.
Michael Amore has been hard at work making customs fans crave for and this week he has a gaggle of Custom Marvel Legends figures so feast your eyes on some of the figures he has in store for you:
I have always been impressed with Michael Amore's work and I think this week he is putting his best foot forward and going above and beyond with his figures. Some of the aspects that I like about his customs is his attention to detail and his excellent sculpting and painting techniques. Do view all of the customs he has for sale this week, head over to eBay and check out why Michael Amore is AFC's Custom Marvel Legends Spotlight customizer.
Not a day goes by where I wish Hasbro would release updated MASK figures and vehicles so until then I will get my fix looking at the great customs that pop up now and then. Amishonline's Custom MASK Julio Lopez figure pays a nice homage to the classic figure but gives it an updated mask and color scheme. To be honest, Julio's classic figure never really appealed to me but Amishonline's version is nice on the eyes and I like the direction he took on the mask. I thought the original figure's mask was a bit large and this version goes well with the figure. Thank goodness the GI Joe 25th Anniversary line is providing a nice canvas for customizers like Amishonline to work their magic.
Darrens5150 has captured the likeness of the great General Kenobi in minifig form with his Custom Lego Star Wars Obi Wan Kenobi in his Clone Commander uniform. What sets this apart from other lego minifigs is that he custom casted the beard, which usually is one dimensional on a lego figure. There are a bunch of great Clone Wars custom legos and this figure would make an awesome addition to your collection. Head over to eBay and check it out!
I love the realism that NTT brings to his customs and his latest Custom Marvel Legends White Phoenix figure is no exception. I love the concept from head to toe! The coupling of metallic gold and soft white accent the right parts of the this figure and the gold sash ties everything together. The hair is a work of art in itself and I have said this several times but nailing the right features of a figure (such as the eyes and hair) can make a break a custom. The hair is very realistic on this figure and the deep shade of red really makes the face pop! NTT is one of the best customizers in this respect and he strives to set a realistic tone with his figures while still staying true to the concepts. Head over to eBay and place a bid on this beauty or view more photos of NTT's Custom Marvel Legends White Phoenix figure!
Customizers always see the inner beauty of a figure sitting on the shelf and they always seem to bring out the best in the figure. Sabrina Ng has again worked her magic with her Custom Transformers Universe Optimus Prime figure. Thinking that the figure looked too dull, she focused on making this figure shine with a combination of painting techniques. I especially love the direction she took the midsection and the grill, giving Optimus that burnt steel look. There are also very small details that if you are not paying close attention, you will miss. For example, she noticed that the box shot had a picture of Prime with a symbol on his lef arm and she went ahead and made that correction and even put a high gloss finish on it to protect it. I have said it before and I will say it again, Sabrina makes outstanding customs and you should feel lucky if you win one because you should know that the ones she makes are the highest quality and best around. Head over to eBay and check out her Custom Transformers Universe Optimus Prime figure for yourself.
Amishonline adds another Dreadnok to the Cobra arsenal with his Custom Dreadnok Gnawgahyde GI Joe 25th Anniversary figure. This figure brings out the classic 80's version in an updated look and feel that will fit right in with your other 25th Joes! Aside from the excellent figure, I like the fact that Amishonline has set some really high standards for himself, which are outline below:
1. It must be durable for play or display. Each figure I make is as tough as or tougher than any related figure you can buy in the store!
2. Originality, each figure I make is a one of a kind piece, I may make similar items, but recipe, accessories, and style are each vastly different to each figure. It is not a practice to sell a figure for a large amount and make another identical item and sell it, to me that is an insult to the first buyer.
3. Competitive pricing is a must! I start all my customs at a low price of $0.99 to ensure that you, the buyer, will set the price. If it is not worth anything to you then it is not worth anything to me!!!
4. Kitbashing is frowned upon. I do not feel popping of a couple parts or weapons make a quality custom. Each figure I make is a complete breakdown of parts and accessories. If it does not fit to the feel of what I am looking for I will not use it. You will never catch me using inferior parts or misrepresenting a figure!
Head over to eBay and check out his Custom Dreadnok Gnawgahyde GI Joe 25th Anniversary figure!
When I first came across Wheeljacks Custom Body Shop's Custom Masterpiece Transformers Thrust, Ramjet, and Dirge, I had to do a double, triple, and quadruple take. These seeker jets look so amazing in the photo, they must look unreal in real life. One aspect that struck me about these customs is that the heads and the winds are handmade! Now stop and digest that statement for a while! The parts look like just like the G1 originals that they were modeled after. These have to be some of the best looking Masterpiece Customs I have seen ever! Let's get some more detail on these great jets from Wheeljack's Custom Body Shop:
"You're bidding on THREE custom Masterpiece Transformers. Dirge, Thrust and Ramjet. These dudes are fully transformable. Each comes with unique weapons and ladder. These guys fit in really well with the Official Hasbro Starscream and the Takara Skywarp and Thundercracker. The wings and heads are entirely hand made. They were painted with automotive enamel and Modelmaster Testor products. Decals were custom designed. They are also sealed with a couple coats of future acrylic. The manufacturing process was fully documented at Sector70. They took about 6 months to complete. Bidder should understand that these are one of a kind handmade items. They are not subject to the same structural standards as factory toys. They are durable however they are not designed for everyday use or rough handling. Winner will receive a PDF file with Transformation Instructions similar to factory toys. The boxes are not like the standard MP Takara boxes. Mine were personally designed and fabricated and painted out of sheets of cardboard. I drew the images, colored and designed the layout. The Printed part of the box were manufactured by a printing company using high quality materials and laminated. Winner will also recieve one of my early customs, a mini alt mode of Reflector."

Adding another clone to the chain of high command, Clone has developed a very versitile soldier with his Custom Lego Clone Wars Commander Zephir minifig. There are several reasons why this figure should be a mainstay in your clone army! First, who can pass up the opportunity to add a unique Clone Commander to your vast Clone Minifig Army. Second, this figure is very highly detailed and designed in such a way to maximize play and poseability. I love the paint aps and color scheme as well as the removable visor. If you want to see more detailed photos, head over to eBay and check out Clone's Custom Lego Clone Wars Commander Zephir minifig.
Standing a towering 8.5 inches tall, Master Maker's Custom Transformers Masterpiece Sideswipe captures that Generation 1 feel on a much larger scale. This figure is truly a work of art and you can tell that Master Maker has poured his heart and skill into this one. I like the direction he took with the head as the G1 and cartoon heads were stylistically too plain for me. He has preserved the G1 paint aps of the original with his choice of Lamborghini red, white, and black. I love the additions of the LED lights and sounds as it adds another dimension to the figure. Master Maker also did his homework so I will let him tell you more about Sideswipe's vehicle mode:
"The shell is made from a 1/24 scale Tamiya Lamborghini Countach Walter Wolf Edition. This is the true version used in the 1984 G1 Sideswipe figure enhaced to it's fullest with the authentic paint scheme of the Walter Wolf edition Lambo."
Master Maker's Custom Transformers Masterpiece Sideswipe is full of information on how he made this figure and there you can view more photos and even see a video demo of the lights and sounds so head over to eBay now and check it out!
